Assouline and Backgammon Social host an evening of games, cocktails and conversation in the Grande Salle at Maison Assouline on Piccadilly on Thursday 5 November 2026, from 7pm to 9pm. The night celebrates the launch of Assouline's new Games Collection.
Seasoned players and curious beginners can take a seat at the table, meet someone new and play a few rounds of backgammon, with games kept moving through the evening and a special Assouline prize for the winning player. Expect boards, drinks and a little competition.
Entry is free, but it is an intimate gathering with limited places and RSVP required through Luma. At the time of listing, all places were taken.

The Artist's Garden is a rooftop sculpture garden at Temple Tube Station, listed in Westminster's Inside Out festival. The council source says visitors can see works by eight women artists, including major new outdoor commissions, installations and sculptures.
The garden is open throughout August from 08:00 to 19:00. The listing says no booking is needed.

Lost Oasis, St Martin's Courtyard, behind St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square
Lost Oasis hosts free live music in St Martin's Courtyard for Westminster's Inside Out festival. The council listing says the programme runs every Tuesday to Saturday throughout August, with live bands and free entry to the courtyard.
